Lilah

Lilah is long, lanky, and oh so skinny. The moment she realized we had treats for her empty belly, she was all focus! She got so excited about the treats that she tried to sit, though it was more of a half-sit she knew to do it. She can be eager with treats sometimes too and we don’t blame her—prolonged hunger can do that. Lilah couldn’t decide whether to keep sitting for treats or lean her whole body into us for pets. She even entertained us a bit, pretending to run after a toy, but her main goals were clear... treats and our affection. She is just a baby and ready to start her life over in a home! All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after decompression time is given for/to the shelter dog.
