Meet Lily: She was found in Eastwood in the middle of the road while cars passed around her until a rescuer stopped to help. Despite being malnourished, exhausted, and had recently had a litter of puppies, she greeted her rescuer enthusiastically with a tired smile and gentle tail wag. Lily gladly jumped into the back seat of the car and so her journey to find her furever home began. Lily was underweight when she was rescued. She is putting on weight and is getting to her ideal weight of 50 pounds. She LOVES to snuggle and just wants to be with her foster mom, dad, sister who is a golden retriever and brother who is a stumpy tail Australian cattle dog. She loves being outside, basking in the sun, running around with the other two siblings, and eating. She had no manners at all when she first came to the house, but she is a quick learner! She is almost potty trained, she is good in her kennel and in the car, she is learning to eat more slowly, and is the destroyer of toys! The vet said she is about 2 years old.
