HI There! I'm Lily, a 3 year old female spaniel/border collie mix. At least that's a best guess. As you can see, I am a sleek and shiny beauty. The world is a wonder to me and I want to learn everything about it. If you want to help me learn how wonderful things can be, then I’m for you. My mantra is happiness and the zest I have for life is infectious. I'm looking for my new forever home, so let me tell you a little about myself. I found myself in a shelter and the kind folks at NEBR came along to help me in my endeavor. I've had several homes during my short life, and I'm not sure why. I have great house manners -- am housetrained and crate trained too. I love to learn and, I respond really well to positive reinforcement. My foster mom reports that I can be reactive to strangers with lots of barking. I guess I'm just a little scared. Of course, if they ignore me, I don't bark. For that reason, apartment living isn't the right situation for me. I'm active, so daily physical activity and mental stimulation would be best. I live with a child in my foster home, and I think kids 8 and older would be best for me. Of course, I need a fenced in yard so that I can play. As you can see, I love to play with a toy. I have been spayed, am up to date with my vaccinations, am heartworm negative and on prevention and am microchipped. I weigh about 45 pounds.
