Lily

She is a lovable dog with many good qualities, especially in that she is very well crate trained, loves her crate, and can stay in it up to 12 hours if necessary. She sleeps well in her crate. She is also house-trained and spent much of her first month with us in enclosed, climate-controlled back porch, not crated. Previous owner said she got along well with her two other dogs, a Golden Retriever and a beagle. She has done ok with our cats, but seemed to want to chase them, if they ran, at first. She would stop when we shouted "no." Lily loves attention and human companionship, but also loves to go exploring on her own. She can be territorial of her property. She spends a lot of time running around the edges of fields, barking at anything she thinks might be lurking in the woods. She will need attention given to her, going for long walks or light runs. She loves to run flat out and is very fast so trips to the dog park would be perfect! If in a neighborhood, she would have to be on leash or she would take off. She is a very sweet dog, in many ways. Her Embark DNA test showed her to be 75% Great Pyrenees and 25% Weimaraner.
