Born in January Weight: 30lbs Breed: Hound Mix Is your foster dog sterilized: Not yet Is your foster dog vaccinated: He has 2 DHPP vaccines and will have his rabies at his neuter. Is your dog good with other dogs: Yes, Lip thrives with other dogs. Is your dog good with cats: Yes, he lives with 3 and he is very playful and pushy. He will chase but with the other cats he has learned his place. Foster Location: Westmeath Is your dog good with kids: Yes, He lives with 3 kids ages 12, 10 & 10. He is mouthly, jumps up a lot and is not tested with toddlers/infants. Current size:Medium Estimated adult size: Medium Is your dog house trained: Number 1 is still lots of accidents, number 2 is doing great inside. Is your dog crate trained: Yes, he does amazing in his crate Does your dog have any special needs or medical conditions? Lip came to us severely emaciated. He has slowly been healing and has made a remarkable recovery with no lasting effects of his starvation. Does your dog have any or display any aggression (toys, food, people, leash reactivity): No Is your dog playful: The most playful pup alive. Describe the dogs energy level: High Does your dog like to snuggle: Yes, so cuddly and lovey. Does your dog know basic commands: He can sit, and come to his name. Does your dog know any special tricks: Not a thing Describe the dogs level of training: Nadda Does your dog like to go on walks: Yes he does, he loves his walks. He also loves to bark and new people and animals as he is scared. Does your dog have any fears: He is scared of virtually everything. Very insecure and fearful boy who is learning to trust. Does your dog have any unique traits you have noticed whether in personality or physically: He is getting more and more liver coloured speckles on his legs and face. He also just grew 3 new whiskers that are brown and the rest of his are white. What are the 3 first words that come to mind when you think of your dog: Energetic, Loyal and Playful . Provide a description of your foster dog and the ideal home for them: Lip came to us on the brink of death. He couldn’t walk properly and his body had already started shutting down. With time he got better everyday. He is very scared of new people and new situations but with slow exposure, he is doing really well and hes been doing great at public events this past week. He needs continuing guidance, an active home and someone who wants loyal adventure buddy because loyalty doesn’t get much stronger than Lip. He would do anything for his people.
