Why Choose Me? Foster update: Meet sweet little Lita (aka Libby), a 1 1/2 year old 36-lb. German Shepard we've spent the last two months fostering! She recently became a tripod following a car accident that landed her at the shelter. Three legs has not stopped her from moving and zooming & loving life! ? She is 100% housebroken & has mastered the doggie door ? She is nondestructive & is given free reign of the house whenever we're home ? She is EXTREMELY affectionate & loves to snuggle (& give kisses) ? She loves, loves, loves adventures, especially when they involve a doggie stroller and/or a leash ? She has yet to meet a stranger - she's been great when meeting humans of all ages She's been fostered with a 7-yr old female Shepard & has done wonderfully - she's learned to respect the space of her foster sister, but does seem to thrive in her company! We've also seen her interact with small dogs & she did great! If you're looking for a new friend full of love & affection, please consider Lita! * * * Lita arrived in with a broken leg and broken pelvis. While she is recovering, she is only available for rescue, foster, or foster-to-adopt to ensure she receives the medical care she needs.
