My Story

Having existed with humans for eons, Carolina Dogs, also known as Native American Indian Dogs, are valued by their adopters for the strong bond formed with their human(s) as well as their quiet primitive nature. They seldom bark. However, if pressed once in a bonded home, they will alert bark. They thrive with canina sociability, often doing best when there are other dogs in the household. They are great companions for those active in the out of doors. They enjoy toys and play. Once fully comfortably acclimated and secure in a home there is an innate confidence that comes from those eons of independent/dependent coexistence with humans. Just a hint of intrigue. Little Bit at first exhibits the cautious characteristics of a Carolina, but is curious enough to check out adults and children and slowly get acquainted. These dogs are skittish, with a good flight tendency, which eases with time. She is approximately 5 years old. Once she bonds, she will make a wonderful companion. Watch the video for recent observations from the folks care for her. House training will need to be re-visited with good structure as Little Bit transition into a new home.
