FAST FACTS *2 Years Old, 42 Pounds *Sweet, Loving, Cuddly, Gentle, Great Listener *Low Energy *People and Kid Friendly *Dog Friendly *Potty Trained *Crate Trained *Training Required BIO: Hi everyone, I’m Liza, a peach of a pooch rescued by Animal Rescue Corps from a closed-down puppy mill where I’d spent my entire life as a breeder dog. After just a few days living in my FTF foster home, I started to realize how wonderful life can be. While I’m cautious and submissive in new places, I adore all humans and gravitate towards them for hugs and pets. In addition to snuggling, I also enjoy helping my foster mom prepare meals. And believe me, she never has to call me twice for breakfast or dinner! I do admit to counter surfing when I think no one’s watching (did I mention I adore food?). But I promise to break this habit with your help. As for the basics, I’m potty trained and crate trained. Leash walking makes me a bit nervous, and for now, I much prefer being free in the backyard. I’m proud to say my recall is excellent, and my foster mom reports I’m a fantastic listener. I enjoy the company of other dogs (haven’t met any cats) but also would be content being your one and only. There really are only 2 requirements for my adoption. First, my person/family must be patient and understanding as I adapt to my forever home and new surroundings. Second, FTF requires that adopters of all young dogs like me attend training classes. These will build my confidence and help ease me into a world that still scares me. Once I finally know I’m safe, I’ll be the happiest girl and your devoted canine companion. I’m so looking forward to having a home and sharing the love that’s always been inside me.
