Hi! My name is Lola, and I am a stunning female treeing walker around 2 years old. I came to my foster home because the daughter in my foster home was helping transport another dog from the shelter I was at, and she thought I deserved to be rescued and taken in by her family. She thought I might have a better chance at finding my forever home if I got some practice living in a home first. I am a busy, active girl, who would LOVE a forever home with a big yard, another dog to play with, and one that enjoys going for long walks and hikes. I am doing well in my foster home. I am quite the snuggle bug. Because I am young and active, I have to admit that when I get bored, I like to chew up toys, shoes, a loaf a bread, whatever I can get my houndy mouth on. Sometimes I do it just to get my foster family's attention, but I don't think they like it as much as I do. They find when I get my walk and plenty of yard time, I am much better behaved girl! I should mention that I love yard time, but I do need a 6 foot fence. I have legs for days, which means I can clear a 4 foot fence easy peasy! I can jump baby gates too. I am doing well with my house training and crate training. Did I mention that I am good with other dogs of all sizes? No meet and greets will be scheduled without the completion and approval of an adoption application. All our dogs live in foster homes, so a meet and greet will have to be scheduled with the foster family. HoundSong Rescue dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. HoundSong Rescue also offers Fi Collars for an additional $100 fee. Fi Collars are GPS collars with many other features we find valuable when owning a hound.
