Lola is a young 4-6 month old Italian Greyhound. She has been working on her potty skills and figured out real quick that the quicker she squatted the faster she got to return to the warm house. She has been great and has established herself well. No problems with Enzo (another IG) or our cats.
Her skin and fur are responding well to a nice bath and a good diet, she has really started to 'shine up' in comparison to when she arrived in rescue. It's amazing what even a few days can do. She is sleeping at night in the kennel with only a few minutes of whining.
Lola is being fostered in Lincoln, NE.
This little girl and 14 other dogs were part of a rescue effort between the Kearney NE Humane society, the Nebraska IG Rescue, and the State of Nebraska. The Nebraska IG Rescue ended up taking 11 of the 14 Italian Greyhounds, and 3 stayed with the Kearney Humane society. You can read more about at the following website.
