When this poor Visalia dog (Lola) arrived Saturday we thought we were up against inoperable (due to size and location) tumors but it seems they were hernias. Our good Vet at Oak Country (seasoned in tricky cases by now) discovered the largest was a sack of urine next to a hernia. He drained and she went back in for successful surgery and has been on the mend and doing well. Your donations lead to some happy endings. Update. Lola has had the hernia come back and it is a hard mass on her underside but it doesnt slow her down. She is a really cute dog, surprised no one has been interested. Guess its that darn mass on her tummy. Too bad.
