My Story

?WELCOME MAMA LOLA ? Lola was saved with her (grown) puppy Bruno from West LA Shelter in Los Angeles CA. They were dumped in the shelter and spent 8 cold, long months sharing a small kennel ?. Thankfully, our angel foster family offered to take them both! After decompression and evaluation, we have decided it will be best for both of them to be adopted our separately. ? ? Lola is around 5?? years old. She is the quintessential mama dogo: sweet, loving, cuddly and submissive. She does fine with other male dogs and loves her people. ? She has been around farm animals and loves her hikes and walks in the PNW outdoors??. Lola also LOVES a comfy bed to cuddle up and nap on. ? She has moderate energy level and would prefer to have a fur sibling! ? ?Please give Lola the opportunity to have a family of her own! ? These mama dogs are generally SO SWEET and love to find a spot of sunshine and nap all day! She's dripping with sweetness ? Adopt Lola! Dogos are a wonderful breed but we urge anyone interested to dig in and do a lot of research before deciding if they are a good fit for your home. They require a lot of attention and training with them never ends! Boundaries must be enforced and they often need reminders as they push past boundaires you set! Dogos are loving, kind and gentle but don't mistake that for weakness because they are equally powerful and intense as well! Everyone in the home must be on board with having a dogo and play a major role in their daily routines and training. Yes it is work, but the rewards are ten-fold! Lazy homes don't work for dogos as they need stimulation, exercise, and lots of attention too during their younger years. Our goal in rescue is to be as transparent as we can about each and every dog plus make sure new families really understand the needs of a Dogo!
