Louie-Pending

Louie is a wonderful 2 year old basset hound. Louie was picked up as a stray and his owner would not pay the fine to bail him out! He was due to be put to sleep so Almost Home drove to a nearby shelter and picked him up. Louie is a fabulous dog! Playful, gentle, loving, laid back, friendly---he loves other dogs; his tail wagged so hard when he met his foster brothers and sisters that his whole backside wiggled! We cannot say enough good things about this dog.

Louie is neutered, utd shots, kennel cough vaccinated, heartworm tested. His adoption donation is $150. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.
