Louis is 5 years old and weighs about 75+ lbs. Louis is very loyal to his person who should have previous dog experience. Whilst he doesn’t mind being around other mellow dogs, he would do best as an only dog also. He loves his toys and he will pick a favourite daily. He is very affectionate and loves to sleep on the bed and get cuddles and a belly rub. He will do great in a home with older children/teenagers and someone who is home often. He is a little shy but within minutes and a few treats and a squeaky toy he will warm up to you in no time. He likes to be close to you and is a couch potato. Once he’s settles into his new home you won’t find a more loyal dog. We do require the adopter to live within a 20 mile radius. He has been with us a while and I think he would find it easier doing a transitional adoption.
