Is your dog looking for a playmate? Look no further! Loves was dumped at a Loves gas station at just 4 months old. Why? No idea! She is an absolute gem. She has all the best traits of a German Shepherd... playful, loyal, and eager to learn. She is on the mellow side for a puppy, and doesn't mind lounging around. That being said, she won't turn down an opportunity to play with other dogs. She ignores cats. She does love human attention, and will follow around her human like a duckling. She is reserved with strangers and can be wary of men especially, but warms up after just a couple of minutes. She hasn't met any children yet, but calm and respectful kids, old enough to understand boundaries would be fine. She is very loving and trusting with her immediate circle, and would melt into you if she could. She is working on housebreaking and doing well with kennel training. She knows sit, down, and paw so far. She is still a baby who needs guidance and training. She is looking for a home as an indoor pet where someone is regularly home to give her the time she needs to continue her basic training. She comes microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and medical care. Her adoption fee includes her spay. She is currently being fostered in North Austin, but can travel anywhere to the right home at adopter's expense.
