Meet Lovie: 4 yr-old sweetheart looking for a kind and cozy place to call home! While tasty treats certainly have her attention, she truly just wants to love and be loved. Lovie’s favorite things: love (obviously), peanut butter snacks, meal time, sunshine, and cuddles. Her Hobbies include: snuggling, playing with her dog friends, following her Foster mom around the house, more snuggles, zoomies, exploring outside, and naps. Lovie is a smart girl - she is crate trained, housetrained, and responds to cues like 'sit' and 'huggy'. Lovie was found abandoned all alone in an empty lot in Philadelphia. She was understandably quite fearful, but with compassionate and gentle care, Lovie has shown her true spirit - an affectionate and loving companion! She’s also quite silly and playful, too! At just 44lb, Lovie is a petite pup - you may even wonder how she could fit such a big, big heart into a little body! She’s perfectly sized to fit in your lap and your heart. Lovie is a quiet and timid girl, steadily gaining confidence and exploring the world around her. She is wary of new people, but when shown gentle kindness, she feels safe and will be your bestest friend -- she will climb right into your lap for cuddles and hugs if you welcome her. She really enjoys being with other dogs, and would thrive in a home with another pup companion. In fact, living with another pup companion will help Lovie continue to build confidence - she loves her two Foster dog siblings! They play and cuddle all day long. Lovie deserves all that is good in the world - along with unconditional love, endless cuddles, and daily belly rubs.
