Lucas

Lucas was surrendered when he became a bit much for the four children in the family and is now looking for a quieter home. Lucas has some fear based behaviors which necessitate a slow introduction to new people and situations. Once Lucas is comfortable, he is an energetic boy who displays a lot of puppy behavior. Lucas has a number of basic skills which he is eager to display. He has typical beagle behavior in being scent motivated. Lucas would thrive in home with fear experienced individuals and those familiar with resource guarding. Lucas has the potential to be an excellent companion in the right environment. The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
