New to rescue 7.23.24 Luci has been through a lot of transition, yet her sweet personality shines through. She is a bit timid when meeting new people, but if given space to approach, she does so willingly and will immediately offer gentle kisses. Her favorite thing so far is being with her people and getting attention and pets from them! Her least favorite thing is being separated from her humans, but her foster family is helping her build confidence and understand that being alone doesn't have to be scary. Luci is busy learning about all that life has to offer! Most noises are new and living indoors seems to be new to her also; however, she is a great student, working on crate training and picking it up quickly! She is a gentle girl on leash and follows commands nicely. Luci definitely finds confidence in her canine foster sister and follows her lead, whether it be conquering stairs quickly, feeling confident to come indoors or determining which toys might be fun to play with. Luci is curious to meet new dogs, but does so with a very gentle approach and prefers her canine friends to also be low energy and respectful. Overall, Luci is a total gem! She approaches life gently and would do well in a low traffic home that has confidence and patience to continue to show just how great life can be!
