Meet Lucky. The second picture of him is when he first came into our clinic. He was diagnosed with HOD (hypertrophic osteodistrophy) and we started him on Rimadyl. The first picture is of him two weeks later, up and running around. Lucky is 7-8 months old and is totally housetrained. He is not crated in his foster home when they are away and has not bothered anything in the house. Lucky will need a home that can commit to treatment in the event his HOD returns during his growth spurts and that is a possibility. Rimadyl should get him through those spurts. His growth plates are fine and he should be fine once he reaches maturity.
