Looking for a beautiful goofball to add to your family!?! This is Lucy! She’s a young girl who was brought into the hospital after having been hit by a car and left running around the streets of Trenton. She wasn’t microchipped and although no one came forward to reclaim her, her sweet personality and manners make us believe she was absolutely someone’s pet prior. Her femur was fractured but the wonderful surgeons at NorthStar VETS - Robbinsville were able to save the leg and we are happy to announce that she’s all healed up and ready to find her forever home. She’s a smart gal, with excellent leash skills, housebroken, and has no resource guarding or food aggression. She doesn’t counter-surf or bark unless she’s letting you know she’s got to potty. Lucy is very food-motivated and crates well. She’s happy to go for walks or hikes, or run around in the yard with a ball, or she’s more than happy to lounge around the house and be a couch potato and snuggle the day away. If you have cats, this gal is NOT for you. Unsure how she will do with other dogs as she has not been dog tested PLEASE share and get the word out, this is a wonderful dog who has so much love to give and deserves a second chance at having a family who won’t abandon her to fend for herself!
