Meet Lucy, a sweet and loving 2.5-year-old dog weighing 23 lbs. Rescued from a life as a stray in early 2023, Lucy has since blossomed into a wonderful companion. Despite her tough past, she has a gentle spirit and a lot of love to give.
Lucy has birthed at least one litter and is now looking for her forever home. Due to her background, she can be nervous around new people and needs time, patience, and lots of love to feel comfortable. However, once she opens up, she becomes incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle.
Lucy would thrive best with someone experienced with dogs, making her ideal for a young couple or a single person who understands her needs. She is good with other dogs and cats, and while she's okay with children, it's important they know she might be scared of quick movements and needs time to adjust.
