Apply to Adopt Me! Lucy Lu is such a special pup, a real delight and so well mannered. This lab mix is estimated to be around 5-6 years old, and is a small girl at only 28lbs. Her fosters say they have never met a happier, more well adjusted dog. When she notices you are getting her leash or coming to you with her favorite toy, Lucy Lu wags her tail and her whole body wags! She is house trained and heads straight onto her bed for a nap after a long walk. She is a great sleeper - sleeping through the night. Her fosters leave her out in the home when they are gone, keeping an eye on her with their camera - but her behavior is perfect as she waits for her people to return. She loves to go for car rides and does great in the car. She handles baths well, responds to her name, knows the commands sit, no and come. She "talks" when she wants to go out or play. Lucy is a medium energy gal and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She's been a great playmate with the dogs she has met in her neighborhood. When she's with other dogs, Lucy Lu is happier than ever, and she gets super excited when you toss a tennis ball her way. She absolutely adores playing fetch, football and tug of war - those are her favorite activities. She is the ultimate furry friend. Lucy Lu does have several benign fatty mass lipomas on her abdomen and leg. The one on her abdomen is the largest but does not cause her any discomfort so we have opted to not put her through surgery to remove since it is only cosmetic.
