Meet Lucy..... 6 yr,. old Lucy was a former breeder dog, who is learning to live her best life as a loved pet. She came to us in mid February and her transformation has been amazing to watch. She is a big sweet girl, who is gentle as can be. She is still learning what it is to be a pet, and will need a family that understands that she is still learning. She is definitely quicker to warm up to women than men, but with patience she is becoming more comfortable with men. She is also good with children of all ages, but still timid. She is housebroken, and good with other animals. She has three other dogs in the house with her currently, all smaller and two are seniors. Although she is still timid and spooks easily, she is a quick learner and looks to her people for reassurance. She is learning to walk on a leash, but if spooked will pull to go to a safe place. She is 96 lbs, and very strong. She loves to be outside, loves belly rubs and treats.
