Hi! My name is Luke. I'm a phenomenal three-year old mixed breed here at the shelter who has been overlooked by potential adopters for over a year! The truth is, most adopters want puppies or dogs with more interesting coats, so I don't usually get a second glance.
Despite being a "plain ol' black dog," I have a LOT going for me. I'm dog-friendly and excellent in play group. I do sometimes like to stir the pot, but I'm incredibly easy to redirect with a simple voice command.
I am potty-trained, leash-trained, and behave well in my kennel. I'm also super smart-it would be a breeze to teach me anything you want me to know. All in all, I really am a great boy and my mellow disposition makes me a perfect companion dog for any lifestyle.
