My Story

Lulu is around 30lbs and right at 1 year old. DNA results are in and it I'm not sure why she is so small?! It says she is 60% pitty and 15% husky. She looks like a Chihuahua/pit mix lol, but behaves as a Husky. It does show a trace of Min Pin, but her mom's mom and her side of the family tree was only came back "mix." She is super sweet and loves toys. She will get every toy out of the toy box to try them all out. Loves other dogs. She met my pack and within 20 minutes her and Reuben were running laps chasing each other having a blast. She now is besties with Cobalt. They wrestle and play a lot. He is a 70lb bully, so is Reuben. She also loves the young puppies I'm fostering and has been a great teacher and mom figure for them. She does play a bit rough, but none of the others here mind it. She now loves the dog pool and is constantly running through it and hopping in and out of it, which is hilarious, but she is always wet lol. She recently discovered swimming in the pond too! She loves people, but at first she is a little bit scared and nervous. She will shy away or roll over, but within a few minutes she warms up very quickly and then wants all the love. She does have a bad habit of jumping on you once you are friends, but I'm working on that. She seemed to love kids, but one guest kid ran at her while they were playing and that set her back into fear mode. She barked and ran away and then didn't want to trust him again. She would need the right kids in home, if homed with kids. She loves to jump in your lap and snooze with you on the couch. She will also go lay on the dogs beds. She does like to show her affection by licking you. She has a fast lizard tongue! *she has now been going to the winery with us and she absolutely loves everyone there.* I can tell she was in someone's house before. She does well in the house, but I don't leave her loose unattended. She does well going in her crate now, but does expect food or a treat when doing so. She does well on the leash and rides good in the vehicle. She is NOT good with cats or poultry. Her one con, she will escape any fence to be with you. She needs a home that will go outside with her or maybe has a 6ft privacy fence. She isn't a runner. If you are with her, she stays with you, but if you go inside the house for a second or go outside of the fence, she will jump the fence. I have an electric fenc that has solved the issue at my house, but I have no doubts that she will be up and over the next fence if left unattended. Again, she isn't a runner. We go for off leash walks in the woods and over to the big pond and she has a good recall. She is Spayed, shots, microchip, heartworm tested(negative) Adoption fee will be $150 to help with vetting.
