Luna

Luna is a Cane Corso and was found wandering in Perris, CA in January 2024. The shelters in the area were inundated with large breed dogs and said they couldn’t accommodate her and she would likely end up on the kill list. The family who found her reached out to The Animal Rescue Center of CA in Coachella, and they kept her safe while trying to find her owner to no avail. As months passed, the family considered making Luna a permanent part of their life, but with a 10, 8, and 1-year-old, they realized they didn’t have enough time to give Luna the attention she deserved. Luna is now in a foster home in San Diego. She is around 2 ½ years old and full-grown at 110 lbs of pure love! She is an indoor dog, fully potty trained, and will make a wonderful addition to any family. When she wags her tail, she wiggles her whole body and she’ll gladly offer you her paw once you’ve won her heart. She is a calm and gentle girl, who loves hugs and would snuggle with you all day if she could! She loves playing with her soccer ball, going on daily walks, car rides and did I mention she loves snuggling? Although Corso’s are a guardian breed, she’s great with adults and children, but she is timid of new situations and not good with other dogs. Needs to be in a 1 dog home. Luna has been vaccinated and will be spayed before adoption. Potential adopters should be experienced, large-breed dog owners. Home and reference checks will be required.
