Luna

Luna is an approximately 5 1/2 month old, 35 lbs. sweet and gorgeous girl. We think Luna is a mix of husky and shepherd, and probably some other breeds mixed in. We think she'll be around 60 lbs. at maturity. Luna walks well on leash, does well in her crate, and is potty trained. She's a super smart girl who is very calm but high energy. Luna does excellent with other dogs and we think she would love a playmate of her size. Luna loves to explore and she does wonderful on hikes, and even on outings to a public park where she was a little rock star. She has no fear issues in general but she's not a fan of strangers approaching her. This is important as she needs someone who will advocate for her so she will keep her neutrality around everything in public. She's the most loving girl with the people she knows and trusts. Luna is not an apartment dog as she can be vocal at times and likes to do the husky talk/howl. She loves to play with her doggie pals here at the rescue or lay down and chew on a bone. Her absolute favorite thing to do, however, is something active. She would be the absolute best PNW adventure companion. You want to go explore and Luna will be part of it. Hiking, biking, paddle boarding....we know she'd love it all. We're looking for someone who can continue her training and provide the guidance and structure she needs to succeed. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible.
