Luna

Luna is our charming 3-4 year old Jindo mix, from Korea, with beautiful eyes, eagerly waiting her forever family. Though she may be shy at first, once Luna feels comfortable in her new home and with her family, her playful and sweet personality will shine through. She is both calm and gentle as well as playful and silly, with her playful side emerging as she becomes more comfortable in her environment. At her foster home, she is usually found resting in one place, but once she's at the dog park, she loves running, sniffing around and meeting new doggie friends. Her calm and gentle nature makes her an ideal companion for senior dogs, and she excels at leisurely leash walks. Luna has never shown any aggression towards humans and is incredibly friendly. While she may be reserved initially, she will open up to her forever family, making activities like teeth brushing, baths and nail clipping easy. Adoption requirements: homeowner with a secure 6' fence, no young children, and you must be in a position to offer a lifetime home which could be 12 years. Someone with experience with a shy dog would be ideal as having another dog as a companion to her. Can commit to daily walks and occasional trips to the dog park.
