My Story
Let us tell you about Lupa, the absolute bravest, strongest little love we know! Lupa may be a Labrador Retriever Mix, but we are certain she also has a healthy dose of lovebug in her. This amazing girl has overcome a rough start in life, and at 7 months old, she is now flourishing. Her brindle coat looks lovely with her long, white socks but it did not always look so perfect. She came to us from a kill shelter in Swainsboro, GA where she was abandoned, neglected, and suffering. Lupa was suffering from severe demodex mange causing open wounds on the majority of her face and parts of her body. Lupa was immediately assessed by a veterinarian, started on the proper regimen back to health, and brought into a foster home. After a long journey Lupa is finally ready to show off her stunning coat (that she has fully regrown), her playful personality, and all 30 pounds of her loving demeanor.
If there is one thing Lupa loves, its play time. She adores toys and bones, and she chews on them just enough to let you know they are hers but not to destroy them. She is very careful to cherish her toys and chewies, and she would love a trip or two to the toy store to pick out a few more friends. Lupa can also be extremely gentle and gives tiny little nib nibs as kisses. She would do so well in a home with kids who love to play as much as she does in addition to another playful canine who will continue teaching her the rules to wrestling, her second favorite pastime.
Lupa is working on her leash and potty training and showing improvement every day. Along with toys, Lupa loves belly rubs. She will let you love on her sweet tummy as long as youd like and would make the perfect snuggle buddy for all your couch time, nap time, anytime snuggles. Just dont be surprised if she takes over the bed for herself. Lupa the lovebug is waiting for youwont you come make her little dreams come true?
Lupa is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.
