Lyla, a charming soul, is searching for a loving and understanding forever family. While a little shy at first, especially around new people and those with booming voices, Lyla has blossomed in just the past week! With patience and some yummy treats, she quickly warms up and shows her sweet, curious side. Lyla is still a work in progress in a few areas. While generally unbothered by distant, leashed canine companions, introductions need to be slow and controlled. Calm, older children who respect her boundaries would be ideal. Inside the house, Lyla is crate training and has improved each day, but she can get anxious if left crated for extended periods outside of bedtime. Her Kong toy is a comfort, but she truly craves companionship. Don't expect Lyla to be the next champion fetcher! This cuddly pup would much rather curl up on your lap or lounge by your side. Walks are a breeze with a flat collar – harnesses just aren't her thing. A quick learner and eager to please, Lyla thrives on positive reinforcement training. She might surprise you with her intelligence, picking up on routines and habits quickly. Notice how she waits by the door with your gym bag or hops straight into her crate when the car hatch opens? Lyla is incredibly sweet and affectionate, with a mellow personality that will melt your heart.
