Lyla is a 3 year old, female, Boxer mix. She was surrendered to us over a year ago. Lyla had been at the shelter for way too long! It's is very difficult for a dog of her breed to be in such tight confinement. Her owner surrendered her because she had no time for her and we hoped to find her a home quickly. Her owner told us she was an inside dog and went to potty outside. She was often in a crate. The owner had kids and said she was good with them and the other dogs. In the past year she has become more choose with her dog friends. She has made good friends with some older dogs. Lyla is very sweet and will sit for a treat. She wants to be very close to you for snuggles. She would climb on your lap if she could! Teach her the word, "down". She walks well on a leash and would be great as a jogging buddy! She would love a fenced in yard where she could play and run freely on nice days. Then have a nice warm bed to sleep in with plenty of treats. She is a beauty!
