ADOPTED 3-1-09, thank you Ali, of Pullman, WA! **********************************************************************************************************************UPDATE 2-18-09, Super good girl these days. Crate trained, leash trained and really shaping up. Will definately be a dog best suited to someone with bird dog experience, not for the faint of heart. She is incredibly smart, too much so. She is high energy, and VERY birdy. She will not be happy as a sedate yard dog. She will be happy with a family who has lot's of time for her, will play with her and take her places. She will be an excellent hiking, camping and possibly hunting, companion. She is beautiful and getting better looking everyday as she gains weight and haircoat! **************************************************UPDATE 1-24-09. Well, Miss Lyndi has proven herself to be the most "trouble" of the group. She was the first to learn to climb out of the puppy pen. She's the most independant, and would much rather do her own thing than following us around like a shadow. She is fearless and shows alot of "birdiness" already. Her FAVORITE pastime is "stalking" the chickens here on the farm and pointing them. She's a riot! Amazing what a little (alot) of good food and love can do for a pup. She's got twice the haircoat now as she did when she cam in and is still the biggest and growing like a bad weed now. She "goes" very GWP in her personality and character traits. **********************************************************************************************************************IN 1-15-09. Please look up "Lucy" the Weimaraner/Poodle on our "happy tails" link from our home page to read the whole story there. This is a female pup, the biggest of the three.. she's a solid red/liver color with a wire coat. She is 9 weeks old at the time of this posting. She is a dolly! These pups "look" terrible, due to the thin, sparse, dry coats and the pot bellies. They were terribly wormy. Our vet checked them over, as we suspected mange, but it turns out they suffered from vitamin D deficiencies due to being fed $10/50#'s discount store dogfood which has absolutely no nutrients in it to sustain good growth and haircoat. These poor little pup's may have been kept in a basement, garage, or barn, away from sunlight. We are working hard to bring them back to health and our vet feels they will make a full and speedy nutritional recovery. I worry so for the 7 that were given away prior to the owner dumping these ones on us. If you'd like to learn about REAL nutrition for your pet, check out www.eaglepack.com
