Mac

Hello... this is Mac! Are you looking for a sweet dog with tons of character, who loves to cuddle, and be silly? Mac is your guy! Mac is adjusting well to the good life in his foster home and is finding his routine. He is approximately 9 lbs, 1.5 year old Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix. He gets along fine with other dogs, but also does well breaking out of his shell and playing on his own. He enjoys sunbathing on the patio in the afternoons, burrowing under blankets when it's cold, and chasing his smaller ball around the house. Mac does well on walks and is progressing well with other commands and potty-training. It appears Mac did not have a history of being a house dog before he came to us, but he's ready to settle down and find his forever home. A home with a yard would be nice, but not necessary. A home with another dog may be nice, but not necessary. Because Mac may have had a life as a bit of a wanderer before he came to us, an adjustment period should be expected. I would recommend he not be in a home with small children, as he may require an environment that provides him some patience to allow him to get familiar with his new home.
