MACGYVER As we all know, MacGyver was able to fix anything with a roll of duct tape. Unfortunately, all the duct tape in the world will not fix this MacGyver's horrible ear crop. There was also no rigging something to prevent his unfortunate return. He was returned for being your typical Doberteen: busy, pesty and needy. He loves everyone and everything and will happily give you his belly to rub. He needs work on curbing his enthusiam which thus far hs not won him an Emmy. MacGyver would do best in a home where his owners will commit to doing the necessary training and give him the time he needs as he is a very people oriented dog. He is about 1 1/2 years old, on the larger side, and overly cropped. My name is MacGyver, or Bear as my foster family calls me. I am told by everyone who sees me that my unfortunate crop job looks like bear ears. My personality fits my foster name too due to my cuddly, teddy bear personality. I get along well with adults, older children, and other dogs. There is a cat where I live and it has not been a successful bonding. I need a forever home that will continue my obedience training. With people who understand that being a 1 1/2 year old puppy in my large body is confusing for me. I am a good boy and a fast learner from a firm hand and a loving heart.
