Meet the marvelous and lovable Macie! This little female has some border collie mixed in to give her a beautiful streak on her nose and large speckled splash on her chest. Being of the "border" persuasion, she tends to be very energetic and intelligent. She knows some basic commands and I am sure would be open to learn much more.
A few facts about her:
-She has a medical condition that has caused her to have seizures in the past but on medication she has been fine.
-She has shown tendencies for food aggression so strict training to over-come her dinner bowl guarding is in order.
-She is housebroken and loves to keep a clean kennel.
-She does take treats very good from hands when given a command.
-She LOVES to walk and explore her surrounding, the longer the better.
-She does not show any aggression to other dogs when walking out of the kennels but if you want to introduce any siblings, we could do so gently to see how she accepts.
Overall, Ms. Macie is a wonderful little lady and loves to be scratched on the butt and the ears and on her chest. When she looks up at you with those soulful eyes, you will be hooked, I promise. She watches us go by her kennel day after day, in hopes that "today" will be the day and it breaks our heart to see her so desperate for a family of her own. Will "today" be the day she dreams of?
