A service dog training organization recently visited Aggieland Humane to meet Macie and see if she would fit their needs for their program. And Macie checked SO. MANY. of their boxes!
Gets along well with other dogs and humans? *check*
Adjusts quickly to new environments and people? *check*
Moderate energy level? *check*
Isn't super noisy? *check*
Basically, 2-year-old Macie aced all these requirements with flying colors! Except she's not treat-motivated, which means she may not be ideal as a service dog. BUT means she would be the PERFECT family dog!
