Macy

Macy is a very special girl. She is 2 years old and was released from a breeder . She never had pups as she was very anxious in the kennel and never really settled down. She has been in her foster home for some time now and is finally at a point we feel we can post her for the right home. She is certainly used to her routine, is crate trained and will come up to her foster mom now as well as the dog sitter. She is absolutely stunning and really wants to be a good girl but is still anxious. She will walk on a leash, but not exactly well. She is actually very loving and does enjoy the company of other dogs. She is too over zealous to play with toy breed dogs or cats though. Macy is a very sweet dog who is definitely suffering the effects of an early puppy and young adulthood with little to no socialization. Therefore we rejoice in the baby steps with her, take things slow with her and understand she is a little more needy than some of our other placements. She may never be a dog who wants to go out and about to pet stores, dog parks and the like. However, she has the ability to make you feel like you are the only person in the world and she truly is devoted to those she trusts. With Macy a fence is an absolute must and we would prefer that she have a dog sibling to help show her the ropes.
