UPDATE; MADDIE IS IN THE PUPS ON PAROLE PROGRAM ITS ABOUT 8 WEEKS. LOVES THE OUTSIDE , PLAYS FETCH. THIS PROGRAM FOR HER IS TO LEARN CONFIDENCE. Maddie is a 1 year old shepherd mix with the most adorable gigantic ears you’ve ever seen. Poor Maddie was dumped with her siblings and mama on the side of Route 66. Sadly, almost all her siblings were hit by cars leaving her, her mama and a newborn litter of 9 needing immediate rescue. Some kind volunteers couldn’t stand to see the same thing happen to her and transported the whole family to us. Maddie is a very special pup, she has not had much human contact in her short life and she has some scars to show she hasn’t had it easy. She is going to need a very special adopter who can be patient and allow her to learn to trust humans. Maddie has been to a board and train and is making so much progress learning to walk on a leash and showing her foster mama affection. She loves the company of other dogs however and you can really see her goofy puppy personality start to shine when she plays. Maddie needs a home with another playful dog, a very secure yard, and someone patient and willing to work with her insecurities. Maddie is also a total water dog and loves playing in the pool!
