Maddux

Meet Maddux! This sweet boy came to us from death row at a local kill shelter after he had been dropped off after being found as a stray. He was undoubtedly the skinniest, most starved dog we've ever seen and his poor body was covered in sores. Unfortunately, his tail was so rotten it had to be amputated immediately. Maddux really misses his tail and doesn't understand why humans failed him so much. He is eating well and is finally at a healthy weight, and also learning to trust new people. He knows every command and is extremely well trained, he will even give you a big hug if you kneel down and ask him! He has a very sweet heart overall and just needs a patient person who will help him learn what it's like to live a normal life for once. Maddux would make a great companion and guard dog.
