My Story

Meet Madison! Hello everyone, my name is Madison, and I'm as sweet as they come! I'm an adult certified bestest girl, even though I was starved almost to death. I even had to stay in the emergency hospital for a little bit, so I could have round the clock care since my body was shutting down. Now I'm about 35 pounds and could gain just a few more to be at a good weight. Nutrition will need to be of utmost importance for me going forward, and I'm on a sensitive stomach diet to help with my IBD. I also take 2 medicines to help with that, but I'm a champ at taking them. I'm good with other dogs, and I don't have any issues with guarding my food and take treats really gently from my humans. I haven't met any cats since being here, but we could find one for me to meet for the right people. I always let my foster mom know when I have to go potty, and when she's away from home, she lets me free roam the house since I don't bother anything that's not mine. I have some little humans at my foster home, and I absolutely adore them! Kids might be my favorite humans, actually. I get so happy to see them and always want to be close. Some of my favorite pastimes are eating good food, being as close to my humans as possible, laying on laps, and sleeping under the blankets with my humans. I sometimes get really excited, but I'm a grade A listener. Foster mom says I deserve the very best home and that my new family will promise to be sure I never miss a meal again. She says I'm ready to find my forever home, and I'm so excited to show how much love I have to give them! Are you ready to show me what the good life looks like?
