Maeve has ongoing medical needs and will be available for a foster to adopt placement while we continue to assess her needs and is ready for adoption. Maeve, or Detective Inspector Wiggle Bottom- Chief Squirrel Investigator, is the loveliest cuddle-bug around who loves to walk around the neighborhood sniffing and inspecting all the trees, probably just as much as she likes snuggling up on the sofa. Maeve loves people and gives all the kisses that you can stand. She's also housebroken and is on a regular schedule with only a few accidents, which only happens when her tummy is upset. She has some separation anxiety and is doing well on her meds. If left with enrichment toys and the Jack Hannah channel playing, she's good to free roam for up to 7hrs during the day. She has a low-key energy level and would love at least longer walk or run/playtime, weather permitting, as exercise needs to be moderated due to her congenital heart condition. Otherwise, she's a lovable goofball who naps like a champ! Sweet Maeve has a heart condition that is currently being cared for by our clinic and partner vets. Once she is ready for adoption, her adopter should be ready to take that care over at a private vet. She will need biannual cardio consults and echocardiograms. Maeve's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter!
