Hi everyone! Please meet Maggie.
Maggie and her sibling (Jade also posted) have had a rough beginning to life! Her story began with an owner in south Louisiana who was being watched for animal neglect. Once the owner realized this, they opted to dump the litter at a location away from their home so as not to be charged with fines. The litter was thankfully found by the neighboring parish animal control and brought to the shelter. It was only by mere chance that rescuers saw the puppies' pictures on the shelters last call euthansia list post. That's two dire situations that Maggie barely escaped! Could you be the one to offer her the "third times the charm" happy forever home or foster?!
Maggie is approximately 10-11 months old, up to date on vaccines, and weighs approximately 24 lbs.
