Maggie

Maggie is a beautiful 1.5 year old, possibly a mixture of shepherd, hound, beagle, and whippet. She was surrendered by her family on Easter and it’s clear she was neglected, living the vital puppy year alone outside most of the time. Despite this, Maggie is an incredibly loving, energetic, and smart girl. Her favorite pastime is playing fetch with her foster parents. She also loves playing with durable toys; playing with other dogs; and snuggling on the couch. Maggie would do well in a home with a fenced-in yard (6ft+), at least one other active and playful dog. She loves the baby in her foster home and is gentle with him. She would also do best having a human at home for most of the day. She gets anxious alone and going to the vet. Maggie is currently prescribed medication for this. A home where someone can be with her most of the time will be best. She is house-trained and crate-trained. 39 lb Spay, vaccines, microchip provided.
