Poor Maggie...Maggie has been waiting so long for her forever home! Maggie was with another rescue but being cared for by one of our foster families. They mentioned that sweet, social, adorable Maggie has had no interest... in over 2 YEARS! Come to find out the other rescue didn't even have Maggie listed for adoption! How is she supposed to find a home if no one even knows she exists! We offered to help Maggie find a home and the other rescue surrendered her to us... so now Maggie is a Misfit! Maggie is a social butterfly. She loves people and being out and about. She met one of our volunteers at our vet's office to get her shots and heartworm, tick disease and fecal exam updated (all negative!) and get her pictures taken. She was so wiggly it was hard to get good pictures. She wanted to say hello to everyone, human and canine alike. She was curious about the lobby cats. She might be a little too enthusiastic for toddlers. Her wiggles get the best of her sometimes. She loves the other dogs she lives with. They are of similar size. They will run zoomies in the yard and they play really well together! She also lives with a very bossy shih tzu and has a healthy fear of him (but to be honest, so do I!) Maggie is the perfect blend of active and chill. She loves playing, going for walks, running in the yard... then she's all cuddles and snuggles. She will try to sneak her way onto your lap if you aren't careful! And we know she's definitely going to find her way into your heart as well. She has ours! Maggie is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines, heartworm and tick diseases negative, spayed, microchipped and on Proheart 6 and Bravecto. Maggie's adoption fee has been reduced to $350 (from $525). Her adoption fee INCLUDES transport and all related expenses. There are NO additional fees! Maggie is in a foster home in Tennessee and will be transported north AFTER his adoption is finalized.
