Maggie's story began in the most heartbreaking way. She was found abandoned, locked in a crate without food or water, her frail body starving and desperate for help. A good Samaritan discovered her plight and brought her to a small shelter in California.
Maggie's fate took a positive turn when another rescue group, visiting the shelter, couldn't bear to leave her behind. Knowing that their facility specialized in big dog breeds, they reached out to our rescue, imploring us to take Maggie in.
Since joining our rescue, Maggie has shown remarkable resilience and friendliness. However, despite her sweet nature and eagerness to please, she has been bounced around, unable to find a stable foster home that will help her feel at home.
