Maggie is a 5 year-old German Shepherd mix who is very affectionate and really loves anybody that will open up their heart to her. She loves to be petted, and if you let her, will snuggle up with you in bed. Maggie is crate trained, but she is very well behaved in the house. She is house broken and treat motivated.
Maggie would be an excellent companion to a single person who wants a best buddy to be moderately active and cuddle with, and she would also do well with a family with older children (as she is very strong and can accidentally knock over the little ones). Maggie gets along with other dogs that are her size, but she prefers that they be submissive to her (no small dogs or cats, please). She would also do well without a dog sibling, as her true love and loyalty is to her people.
Maggie has at times demonstrated some environment and leash reactivity. As such, she needs a home with a yard with fence to call her own. Maggie is spayed, up-to-date on her shots, heartworm negative, and knows a number of basic commands. Maggie is ready to meet that special person or family who can provide her with an abundance of head kisses, lots of petting and consistency.
