UPDATE!! Look at what good vet care and lots of TLC can do!!! Maggie Mae is officially adoption ready!! This girl came to us few months with a horrible case of mange, skin infections, an eye ulcer and entropion! Her skin was treated and her eye has had surgery for repair and she's healed just beautiful. Her stitches are out and she is officially be adoption ready. Maggie Mae is a medium mixed breed. She's around 33 lbs and 9-12 months old. We do not believe she will get any bigger. She's a wonderful pup. She's obedient and sweet. Great with all animals and people. You truly couldn't go wrong with this girl. She is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and spayed. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
