I came to this awesome place because my previous owner had to make a tough decision and couldn’t keep me anymore. But guess what? I’m ready to start a new chapter with you! I’m searching for a cozy, loving home where I can be the queen of comfort. In case you are wondering, I was sporting a seriously matted coat, so I got a stylish new “shaved” look. Think of it as my summer makeover—short, sweet, and ready for new adventures! But don’t let the new look fool you! I’m still the same charming, affectionate moose who’s ready to bring joy and cuddles to your home. My fluffy personality is what truly counts, and I’m excited to show you just how wonderful life can be with me by your side. Plus, my fur will come back in soon enough, ready to find its way into every nook and cranny of your home, car, and heart! If you’re a busy bee who loves adventures and exploring, I’ll happily tag along and enjoy the ride. And if you’re more of a homebody who enjoys quiet evenings and lazy weekends, I’m your perfect match. I’m a pro at snoozing and can nap through anything short of an earthquake. If you have a comfy couch or a sunny spot by the window, I’ll consider it my royal throne. I’m not into running marathons, but I’m great at lounging around and providing top-notch snuggles. I’ve been known to give some pretty impressive snuggle sessions and can turn into a majestic moose puddle of fluff with just a little bit of love. I might be a giant, but I’m all heart and would love to bring a little more warmth and humor into your home. I’m a pro at making myself comfy on your lap or the couch. If you’ve ever wanted a dog that will happily take over your side of the bed, look no further! I’m also a master of the “puppy dog eyes” when I want belly rubs. While I do enjoy a good stroll and meeting new friends, I’m equally content to snooze the day away. I’m basically a professional napper and have perfected the art of finding the comfiest spot in the house. When new dogs come into my world, I’m a bit like a cautious momma bear. I need a few days to warm up, and I prefer if everyone plays it cool. My approach to introductions is a bit like my mom’s approach to teenage sleepovers: calm and collected. If a new doggie starts getting a bit too rowdy, I’ll flash my best lip curls and low growls. It’s my way of saying, “Hold your horses! I’m not in the mood for chaos, so let’s tone it down a notch.” But if they don’t catch on and keep pushing their luck, I might deliver a big bark. Think of it as my “mom voice” coming out—just a little firm to say, “That’s enough, let’s keep this party civilized!” But don’t worry, I’m not mean—I’m just the mom who’s got the peacekeeping duties down pat. I’m the one making sure everyone behaves and no one makes a mess of the living room. I just want to ensure that everyone plays nice and that my home remains the peaceful haven it’s meant to be. Once I’ve had a chance to get to know my new canine companions and everyone follows the rules, I may even join in and have some...nothing too crazy though...someone has to be the responsible one. ;) I’ve been absolutely fantastic with the cat in my foster home. We’ve been getting along like old pals! I’m respectful and gentle, and I’ve shown that I’m more than happy to share my space with my feline friends. I’m more of a calm-and-collected kind of gal when it comes to kids. If approached calmly, I’m perfectly happy to accept some gentle pets and attention. I appreciate a more laid-back approach, where I can be my serene self and enjoy some quiet love. While I’m super loving and affectionate, I’ve got a bit of a “don’t-create chaos-in-my-home” attitude when it comes to high-energy little ones. If you’ve got a couple of rambunctious, squealing kiddos who like to skip around, I might give them a gentle growl to let them know I’m not in the mood for their silly shenanigans. While the younger, high-energy whippersnappers might not be my favorite, I absolutely thrive with older, more laid-back kids who know how to approach with a gentle touch. I’ve had a blast with a teenage boy who showered me with affection all weekend long, and let me tell you, I soaked it up like a sponge. I’m a pro at loving on teens and will happily accept all the pets and belly rubs they can dish out. When it comes to meeting new people, I’m all about making friends and spreading those pyramoose-sized smiles. We had a bunch of company over this weekend, and let me tell you, I was in my element! I eagerly approached each guest with my warm, friendly demeanor. I’m not at all standoffish—I’m more like the party host who’s thrilled to greet everyone and make sure they’re having a great time. If you’re looking for a dog who’s enthusiastic about meeting new folks and spreading some moosey joy, I’m your girl! I’m ready to be the life of the party and welcome anyone who comes my way with open paws and a wagging tail. ??? I think I’d do quite well in an apartment as long as I get the right amount of exercise and attention. I might need a bit of time to adjust to all the new sounds and noises, so I could be a little barky at first while I figure things out. But once I’m settled and familiar with my surroundings, I’m sure I’ll adapt nicely. So, if you’re ready for a bit of initial bark and a whole lot of moosey snuggles, I’m your perfect apartment buddy! When it comes to things like fetch, it's not really my thing. I haven’t shown much interest in toys either; they don’t quite capture my fancy. And water? Well, let’s just say I’m not exactly a splash-and-play kind of pyramoose. While I might not be into fetching or swimming, I’m all about cuddles, calm walks, and just hanging out with my favorite humans. I’m so good at potty training, I could teach a master class on it. I handle my business with the precision of a pyramoose who’s never had a slip-up. If you’re looking for a dog who’s as reliable as a clock and as tidy as a freshly vacuumed rug, I’m your gal. I’ve got no interest in chewing on your favorite shoes or that important stack of papers. Plus, chewing up your things seems like a lot of work...I would much rather be napping or getting pets from my people. I’ve got a bark that could rival a foghorn—especially when I’m checking out new things or if other dogs are barking. And let’s not forget my impressive howl whenever I hear sirens—it’s my way of joining in on the neighborhood symphony! My bark might be big, but it’s all in good fun and once I am familiar with my surroundings I use it a lot less. Only for the real important things(which sometimes our versions of important may differ but I digress). I’m a well-behaved Pyramoose who’s earned the right to have free rein of your home. You won’t find me getting into mischief or causing trouble. Instead, I’ll be wandering around like I own the place (because, let’s face it, I might as well!).
