Magoo

MAGOO - Yep...I am called Magoo. Because my handsome light blue eyes are fairly crossed, it seemed comical to call me "Magoo". Now that I have had that name for awhile, I sorta like it. I had to be rescued from Animal Control because I needed surgery on my eye-lids. They curled in and scratched my eyes; keeping them irritated and infected. Infact, while I was in Animal Control my eyes were so bad no one even noticed how crossed eyed I am!!! Wow, they were bad! I have had two surgeries to correct the problem and have finally been released. I am told I am very handsome...guess it is that nice combination of Newfy and Aussie. I am about a year and a half old, get along well with other dogs (altho' some of the little dogs in my foster home bug me)., kennel trained, have been known to carry around shoes (but haven't torn them up), not very barky, sorta like to sleep on the bed (not always agreeable with others), have to admit I get into things when I am left alone for awhile (I've been told its because I am still a "puppy"...good excuse huh?), love to be petted and rubbed, have a bad habit of jumping up on people (that's not good and I try to resist), know a couple of basic commands and even tolerate brushing fairly well. I go to doggy daycare at Golden Days during the week days and have a blast!!! I love to play with other dogs! I dream of my own family...where I can have lots of attention, someone to play with, an understanding that I am still a "big" puppy and a lifetime commitment. I would love a fenced yard where I can play safely. I was reminded that I should mention that dog training classes would be beneficial...and have been told they are fun! If you have room in your heart and home for a big boy like me...who loves to give kisses...please let us know...I am waiting for you!!!
