She is smart, sweet, playful, curious and cuddly. Her favorite things are treats, peanut butter, belly scratches and time outdoors. Magpie is friendly with other dogs and great with older children. Although she is deaf, she does not let that slow her down. She even knows some hand signals such as "sit", "come", and "lay down". She has diabetes insipidus (a form of the disease that affects hydration, not blood sugar). That is controlled by a once daily with an oral medication, which Magpie tolerates very well.
